Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund excluding any processing charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Must be requested formally through email or telephone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the overall charter expenses

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund

Conditions: Cancellation reason is required; administration costs are considered

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Unavailability of refund

Exception: Consideration for critical situations may be given

Alternative: At the discretion of management, a charter voucher might be provided

Conditions: Evidence must be supplied for emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

We prioritize safety foremost. Should our certified captain judge weather conditions as unsafe for charter activity, we offer the following flexible choices:

  • Full Refund: A complete refund if rescheduling is not an option
  • Reschedule: Change your charter to an alternative date at no extra cost
  • Charter Credit: A voucher, valid for a year from the original booking

Weather Assessment Process

The weather conditions are assessed based on:

  • Analysis of wind velocity and trajectory
  • Wave scale and marine circumstances
  • Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
  • Warnings and advisories issued by the Coast Guard
  • Assessment of safety by a professional captain

Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are finalized no less than 4 hours ahead of the departure schedule.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We are cognizant that unexpected medical events can transpire. Special consideration might be possible in the following instances:

  • Sudden medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospital care
  • Immediate family bereavement
  • Urgent military summons or deployment
  • Compulsory court appearances or juror obligations
  • Significant natural events affecting transportation

Documentation Requirements

For handling emergency refund claims, the following documents are needed:

  • A medical statement or hospital records
  • Bereavement verification (when relevant)
  • Conscription formal orders
  • Official court notice or juror summons
  • Public travel warnings or declarations of emergency

Processing: Refunds for emergencies are handled within 3-5 working days after presentation of the appropriate documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Complications

Should your designated craft encounter mechanical issues that remain unresolved:

  • Alternative Vessel: Effort will be made to arrange an equivalent alternative
  • Full Refund: Provided if no viable alternative exists
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement vessel differs in pricing
  • Compensation: Additional accommodation may be provided for any inconveniences

Crew Nonavailability

On rare occasions when certified crew are not available:

  • An alternative crew will be sought out
  • A full refund in case the charter cannot go forth
  • Options to reschedule without any added fees

Refund Processing

Payment Method

Refunds are returned using the same payment means as the original reservation:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 working days

€50 charge for cancellations done over 72 hours ahead of time

Bank Transfer Handling

€25 charge for every reimbursement made via bank transfer

International Processing

Supplementary costs may be incurred for cross-border transactions

Charter Credits

Instances Where Credits Are Extended

In some situations, charter credits might be offered instead of cash reimbursements:

  • Last-minute cancellations (less than a day's notice)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary date changes requested by the client
  • Unforeseen operational issues

Credit Details

  • Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
  • Transferability: Non-assignable to other individuals
  • Value: Equivalent to the full charter amount without deduction for fees
  • Application: Applicable to any charter that’s open for booking
  • Expiration: Credits terminate 12 months post-issue with no extensions

Partial Service Reimbursements

Interruptions During Service

If your charter experiences disruptions or concludes prematurely due to factors we control:

  • Proportional refund based on the unutilized portion
  • Voucher for a subsequent charter of the same value
  • Complimentary upgrades or additional services

Guest-Related Disruptions

If a charter ends earlier than planned because of the behavior or safety breaches by guests:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining period
  • The entire fee must still be settled
  • Extra costs may be incurred

Conflict Resolution

If you hold reservations against a refund decision, you are entitled to:

  • Request a reassessment by our administrative body
  • Submit supplementary proof or information
  • Look for a resolution via consumer protection organizations
  • Seek legal courses of action per relevant laws

Our team will confirm reception of your request within a day, evaluate it against our policy, provide a verdict within two days, and proceed with sanctioned refunds within the specified durations.

Essential Remarks

  • All refund applications must be in written format
  • Refunds are issued in €, regardless of the transaction currency used originally
  • We strongly advocate for purchasing travel insurance
  • This document is subject to amendments with a notice period of 30 days
  • Refunds are directed by the pertinent taxes and regulations
